August 11, 2005 Published the all new Skeeters Trailer on the website. July 30, 2005 We did a quick recording session to lay down voice tracks for a Skeeters Trailer. June 14, 2005 We just heard that Skeeters was accepted to the CascadiaCon Film Festival. Excitement ensues. April 16, 2005 Festival submission preparation day. We are in heavy production mode here putting together packets for the film festivals we are submitting to. Feburary 15, 2005 The movie is completed. Now starts the work of getting the website revamped. January 2, 2005 This has been a great week for Skeeters. I've had a week off from work and much of that time I spent working on the project. In the process I have:
It's not all complete, though. I still have sound effects and music to deal with. July 17, 2004 Episode 3 is in production at the moment. It is the technically most complex episode in the series. I have the basic end to end timing completed, but it is a long way off to even first draft. Here is a still from one of the test renders:
June 1, 2004 It's been a while since I posted an update. Skeeters is back in full swing. On May 2nd, 2004 I had a recording session with Allix, Molli and Nancy to lay down the voice tracks for 5 more episodes of Skeeters. Here is a picture of Allix and Molli doing their mosquito impressions. There is also a picture of me during the same recording session.
Since then, I have been busy modeling and animating. I have completed the final draft of Episode 2 featuring a new wasp character. There are no sound effects or background sounds, just voices and animation.
May 6, 2003 All the scenes are in and the mosquito sound effects have been added. Next is music. Know anyone who want's to write a theme song?
February 8, 2003 Scene 2 is now roughed in with a voice track and no sound effects or background music. January 4, 2003 Scene 1 is now roughed in with a voice track and no sound effects or background music.
December 30, 2002 We layed down the voice tracks today with Allix and Molli. Here is a sample. Mosquito profanity warning. Cover up those tender larval ears. September 26 , 2002 Meet Sally and Sue.
